A defensive driving class, safety or anti-theft device, or bundling all of your coverage with one insurer can be simple ways to earn a substantial discount. You may not want to spend a day in defensive driving class, but even a 10% discount can equal $100s of dollars worth of car insurance premium savings every year! And it is very easy to find auto and home insurance discounts.

Finally, make sure you shop around. Auto insurers all have their own rate tables, and your good driving record may earn a big discount with one company, but your poor credit report may hurt you with another insurer! You can control the costs of car insurance, and since it is one of the largest bills most people must pay every month, it is worth it to check into buying top coverage at the lowest possible rate!
